LDI DRESS CODE
We do not require a strict color-coded dress code at LDI, however we hope you will help us help your dancer get the most out of their training by following the few requests below.
Most dancers are excited to wear beautiful matching costumes when they perform, and just as it is important to wear the right attire on stage is wearing the appropriate clothing in the studio.
By following our guidelines, dancers will be able to move properly & increase focus, and it will help eliminate distractions during class & allow instructors to help the dancers find the correct & safe alignment for their movement.
FORM-FITTED DANCEWEAR
-
This is required for all classes (except for Hip-Hop)
-
No big/loose t-shirts/sweatshirts
-
Acceptable dancewear includes:
-
Leotards and dance skirts
-
Form-fitted shorts/capris/leggings or tights
-
Appropriate sports bras or a tight fitting cami
-
-
As the weather gets colder, dancers may layer clothing, but again we ask that it is all form-fitted so teachers can see dancer's alignment/placement
HAIR STYLES
-
Longer hair must be secured in a ponytail, braid, or bun for ALL classes
-
Shorter hair may be half up, or should at least be pinned back off & out of dancer's face
-
Please have dancers keep extra hair elastics/bobby pins/clips in bags each week
-
Please help dancers have their hair up appropriately before coming into the classroom
